Pittsburgh Steel was commissioned to execute the addition of the refrigeration warehouse. A key challenge was the inclusion of mechanical penthouses housing heavy rooftop units essential for cooling the structure. These penthouses were meticulously assembled at ground level, with all columns, beams, joists, grating, braces, and trim angles fitted before being hoisted 100 feet in a single lift by a 500-ton mobile crane.
